Bible Study Topic: "Faithfulness"

1. Faithfulness where we are

“Look for what God is doing right where you are and be faithful to make the best of a situation that doesn’t seem ‘successful’ at the time.”

2. Faithfulness in difficult situations

“Suffering has a greater purpose – to strip away all the things in which we put our significance and trust and to allow us to see our oft-forgotten frailty and our need to rely on God for all we are lacking.”

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." - James 1:2-4

Bible Study Topic: "Teachability"

"He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; he who cherishes understanding prospers." - Proverbs 19:8

"Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding." - Proverbs 4:7

Keys to Learning:
1. An attitude of teachability
2. Readiness to learn from others
3. Listening to those we disagree with
4. Having a sense of wonder

“There is something to learn from all people if we are only willing to sit at their feet and humble ourselves enough to ask the right questions.” - Gordon MacDonald

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science." – Albert Einstein

c4 super spring salad night

Bible Study topic: "What is God's will?"

The most important question in our life is not what we should do, but who should we become.

Four aspects of God's will for us:

1. God knows us (Psalm 139:1-16)
2. God loves us and will not forget us. (Isaiah 49:15-16)
3. God has a plan to prosper us, not to harm us (Jeremiah 29:11)
4. God will finish the work he has begun in and through us (Philippians 1:6)
